UDI
Project Brief
UDI (completed for Gary who is finalising and deciding on the next step re: printing/publication)
Ghost writing the story of an Australian volunteer who arrived in Nigeria during its civil war with the newly declared and independent Biafra.
‘… November, 1968. A twenty six year old Australian, Gary Sibson, bursts into tears in front of children at a Nigerian village school. It takes some time before he regains composure, rocked as he is to the very core. His moment had arrived … ‘
Gary quickly became sort after to be the main man on the ground in the middle of some of the biggest humanitarian crisis of our time – some of the more recent being those that tragically unfolded in Bosnia, Rwanda and his final assignment in Kosovo. For Gary it all goes back to that moment of clarity that changed everything and set him on a totally unexpected pathway to an unlikely career.
